A few days ago, CRSC received an invitation letter from Korea Electronics Technology Association (KETA) and IPC Korean training center which invited Fu Chunyan, one of the IPC hand-soldering world champions, to compete in the IPC Hand-Soldering Friendly Match against two other world winners in Korean Electronics Show NEPCON KOREA 2015 which opened from April 1st ~3rd. At that time, three world champions would feast the audience with the world best skills in hand soldering complex printed board assemblies.
Electric fitting is the core technique of CRSC manufacturing, which is also a crucial procedure of the workflow to produce the state-of-the-art main controlling equipment of high-speed railways. Fu Chunyan is an ordinary women working along the electric fitting and assembly welding production line. However, Fu is not that ordinary considering that she is the first in China to crown the IPC Hand-Soldering World Championship. In 2013, Fu competed with contestants from Europe, America and Asia, who were challenged with building a functional electronics assembly within a one-hour time limit. She finally won the first place with her high production speed and perfect overall electrical functionality. Previously, she won the first place of China region after competing with more than 500 talented hand soldering craftsman around China from aerospace and optoelectronics enterprises.
At present, Fu still dedicates to her position as a passionate hand-soldering workingwoman. When asked about this friendly match, she seemed very composed, saying that, “The work load in the factory is a little bit heavy, so I would start to prepare the tools for the match nest week. Using my own tools would be more comfortable. What kind of printed board they are gonna use in the match is unknown until I get to the site.”
