On April 1st, Nanjing Metro Line 3, whose communication and signaling construction was completed by CRSC, started its first-day business operation with a passenger capacity of over 400, 000 people.
Starting from Linchang and ending at Mozhoudonglu with 29 stations and a total length of 45 km, Line 3 becomes the very core of Nanjing’s urban mass transit network by linking the down town, Jiangbei and Jiangning new area, connecting with important outward hubs such as Lukou Airport, Nanjing South Station of Beijing-Shanghai high-speed line, Nanjing Train Station and Jiangbei Train Station, and transferable with 11 existed or planned urban transit lines. The line goes through Nanjing city and goes under the Xuanwu Lake and Qinhuai River for twice. The opening of the line is a great moment for the metro construction in Nanjing and it will become the lifeblood of Nanjing’s economic development and radiation.
CRSC is responsible for the communication system construction and the installation of ten signaling equipment centralization station. The project started at the end of 2012 and passed the final acceptance of construction on Dec. 31st 2014. During the construction, experts from Nanjing Metro Construction Company and Nanjing Rail Transit Supervision Station spoke highly of the quality of CRSC’s work and gave credit for its contribution to the urban construction and public transportation.
