On the heels of the successful security work during the World Junior Figure Skating Championships and Tomb-sweeping Day with huge passenger flow, CRSC’s maintenance and security group for Line 11’s communication system would continue to provide their security service to the F1 China Grand Prix.
It is estimated that the passenger flow volume of Line 11 on the day of F1 would be more than 100, 000. Shanghai municipal government attached great importance to the event. The Deputy Mayor Zhao Wen visited and inspected Shanghai Circuit Station of Line 11 on April 7th, requiring all the staff to fully secure smooth operation, make sure the all the messages were timely released, the broadcasting system and passenger-guiding system were in normal operation and the CCTV could cover every corner of the station.
CRSC has fully prepared for the situation. Backbone technicians have been sent to keep on duty. They have performed an overhaul of all the communication systems of Line 11 and addressed the problems of aging equipment etc. in a timely fashion.
